About GoKL
A free ride, powered by the city
GoKL is Kuala Lumpur City Hall’s (DBKL) free electric bus service, run to widen access to public transport across the Federal Territory. Fifteen routes — four in the city centre, eleven reaching outer neighbourhoods — link housing areas to the city’s major transit hubs: MRT, LRT, Monorail and KTM Komuter.
Since DBKL took over the service from the former Land Public Transport Commission in 2019, GoKL has grown to cover all 11 parliamentary areas of Kuala Lumpur, prioritising lower-income riders and residents of public and low-cost housing.

How to ride
Free for Malaysian
Register your MyKad with Touch ’n Go at a GoKL counter, then tap in on every ride at no cost.
RM1 for visitors
Foreign visitors pay RM1 per ride via Touch ’n Go, credit or debit card.
Children ride free
Riders aged 12 and under travel free regardless of citizenship.
Daily, 6am – 11pm
Buses run every 5–15 minutes depending on route and time of day.

The main goals of our emergency response efforts are to ensure safety, reduce traffic delays, and prevent further incidents.
- Bring your MyKad Any registered Malaysian identity card works.
- Visit a registration counter KLCC, Titiwangsa (Pekeliling) or Pasar Seni bus stops, or Menara DBKL 1 lobby on Wednesdays.
